Medical Massage

Medical Massage is result oriented and the treatment is specifically directed to resolve painful problem areas or a diagnosed condition. A variety of modalities or procedures may be used during the treatment.

In the case of an auto accident, patients must obtain a prescription from their physician or emergency room doctor for massage in order for insurance to be billed. Medical Massage is generally billed in 15-minute segments using current procedural terminology and adhering to the usual and customary reimbursement fee schedule.

ETPS Therapy is a new FDA approved therapy that combines the principles of acupuncture and neurology with microcurrent stimulation.  Around the world, ETPS is successfully helping many pain patients control their pain levels and resume normal functioning in their lives again!

Electro Therapy Point Stimulation (ETPS)

What does ETPS do?

ETPS produces a stimulation that relaxes muscles and calms the nervous system. In addition, it relaxes contracted muscles to relieve pressed nerves, and also releases endorphins, the body’s natural pain killers. As the source of pain

Muscles, tendons, knots, adhesions due to scar tissue, and trapped nerves causing shooting pain can all be relaxed with the careful usage of ETPS. This treatment combines the principles of acupuncture & neurology with micro current stimulation and as a result, mixes up the neurological pathways going to the brain. Because the pain sensors are re-routed, the initial pain is decreased and the problem areas can be treated at a much deeper level. Muscle manipulation and stretching procedures are also a vital part of the protocol and very effective in controlling and/or eliminating chronic pain.

I've experienced much success treating people with conditions that were causing extensive pain associated with muscles and joints such as; headaches/migraines, whiplash, neck pain (tension & range of motion issues), rotator cuff, back pain (upper/middle/lower and sciatica), tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, knee problems and ankle injuries.

The most important part of serving the client is communicating, listening to their desired result and working within their comfort level to achieve it.

Throughout the years I've been drawn towards medical massage as I love making a difference in ones quality of life. Many people have the misguided belief that having pain is just part of getting older while others take an active role in relieving as well as preventing those same uncomfortable conditions. While pain medications often treat only the symptoms, ETPS treats the immediate pain as well as addressing it's source.
